Apostasy
Personally, I'm an advocate of the UN's Universal Declaration of Human Rights when it comes to apostasy:
Article 18.
Everyone has the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change his religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.
Of course, this sentiment is not shared by all.
There are troubling statistics that state that 36% of British Muslims, aged 16-24 advocate the death penalty for Muslims who change their religion. What is this based on? Just random thoughts?
No, it's based off of the Koran and the Hadith.
